About Lindsay
When I graduated from the Massage Therapy Certificate Program of Mount Royal University in 2005 I knew that I was only at the beginning of a life long journey of learning. Since that time my interest in Massage Therapy has turned into a passion that continues to grow the longer I practice and the more experience I gain.
I believe that true health starts from deep within us, beyond our cells and tissue, and that to achieve overall wellness we need to have awareness of, and balance between, our very intricate mind-body connection. I have a great appreciation for holistic therapies that work with the body as a whole to treat dis-ease and promote healing on a deep level. I have seen first hand that Massage Therapy can play an integral role in helping a person achieve a state of balance with their health, on both a physical and a psychological stage. It's important to me as a therapist that every client I see knows that my treatment room is a space in which their health will be looked upon in a supportive, and non judgmental manner, no matter the state of their health or the lifestyle they follow.
My areas of particular interest relate to postural dysfunctions, pregnancy massage, headache/neck pain and stress related conditions. A treatment with me may include many different methods as I practice outcome based massage, which utilizes different modalities and techniques depending on a persons own unique needs, to ensure the best possible end results. Over the last few years my career and interests have naturally evolved to include Aromatherapy. I have spent many long hours studying to prepare for my Aromatherapy Certificate from The West Coast Institute of Aromatherapy. I am very excited to integrate aromatherapy into my practice and feel that it is something that my clients will soon believe in just as much as I do.
I look forward to working with you towards achieving your own personal goals of health, balance, awareness, and well-being, whatever they may be!
